When using our mobile applications you may be asked to grant access to your camera and your contact list. The camera permission is only requested if you want to share some pictures with your eSMART-touch. Our applications need to access your contact list to identify your device name.

Data based on your own energy consumption profile (e.g size and type of your home, zip code) will be also collected so that you can compare (anonymously) your energy consumption to people with similar profiles.

We will use our best reasonable endeavours to ensure that your data is not accessible by third parties with malign intent.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Third Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

eSMART Agenda

The eSMART Agenda enables the visualisation and modification of calendaring data with the Google Calendar API (the « Service »), owned by Google (the « Service Provider »).

This page contains the policies regarding collection, transmission and use of your data when using the eSMART agenda. By using the eSMART agenda, you (the « User ») agree to the policies set herein.

Collection and use of information by eSMART:
eSMART does not have access to user data exchanged between the User and the Service, including but not limited to calendar events, settings, or tasks. Through a dashboard made available by the eSMART agenda, eSMART access to aggregated and summarized analytical information about the use of the Service, such as total number of requests by all users or rate of errors.

Storing of user data:
The eSMART agenda stores your user data locally on the eSMART touch. The information is kept in the eSMART touch device.

Collection and use of Information by the Service Provider:
The collection and use of information by the service provider is not governed by this privacy policy. Functionally, the eSMART agenda exchanges and transmits calendaring data between the eSMART touch and the Service. Therefore, please refer to https://policies.google.com/privacy for information about the Service Provider’s privacy practices.

Security

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We only provide articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers.
We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

The data collected and data generated during the usage of our services and our products are stored in Switzerland.
